Well done to the gents from Team TRAC – NLB that assisted their client (Northern Lighthouse Board) at a charity event recently.

Works took place at the Robert Stevenson vault at the New Carlton cemetery in Edinburgh and consisted of general clean and power washing internally, needle gun the entrance gates ready for paint and then painting the entrance gates.

TRAC assisted by supplying labour, plant and some of the materials needed to complete the clean-up.

TRAC’s Tesmec wiring unit completed its first project last week at West Calder as part of Network Rail’s H2M Overhead Line Equipment Installation Project.

The Tesmec is TRAC’s new RRV mounted high speed wiring unit, the first of its type in the UK. The innovative design of this unit allows installation of High Voltage Conductors in a single shift, where previously this would have taken several shifts. During the project 9976 metres of cable were safely installed over 4 shifts as well as all ancillary insulators and equipment, delivering excellent customer satisfaction.
