COURSE DETAILS

The level 1 course is the first step in a three level IRATA system.

Course Content:

⚫ Awareness of hazard identification &
    risk assessment 
⚫ Safe use & inspection of equipment
⚫ Knots & basic rigging techniques 
⚫ Rope manoeuvres 
⚫ Structural climbing techniques 
⚫ Descent rescue techniques &
   lowering systems 
⚫ Level one theory knowledge
 

Course Duration: 5 Days

(4 days training & 1 assessment day)

On successful achievement of the qualification and once IRATA registration is completed the candidate will be issued with a logbook, certificate and ID card.

Who should attend

This course is intended for personnel with no previous rope access experience. Delegates must be physically and medically fit and a minimum age of 18 years.

Course Aims

To provide delegates with the ability to perform a range of rope access activities under the supervision of a Level 3 technician, also be responsible for their own rope access equipment.

Course Duration: 5 Days (4 days training and a pass day practical and theory assessment)
