M80 Structures Refurbishment

TRAC was appointed as Principal Contractor by Transport Scotland to complete the refurbishment of existing structures at 9 sites along the M80. The works required traffic management on and off the M80, replacement of revetment slabs with brushed in-situ concrete, structural concrete repairs to piers and edge beams, polysulphide sealant to edge beams and replacing existing expansion joints together with crib and gabion walling, parapet barriers and safety fencing. The Engineer for the Contract was BEAR Scotland Ltd.
